Here at Bartley Rowe, our aim is to create chocolate with all the added benefits of CBD, but no compromise on flavour. It is our belief is that no-one should have to compromise on flavour in order to reap the benefits of CBD. That’s why here at Bartley Rowe, we only use the finest quality chocolate, handmade in Wales. We offer a varied selection of delectable flavours to suit every taste, while providing all the benefits from a high quality CBD oil.

We are very conscious of being sustainable and eco-friendly wherever possible. That’s why we source all of our ingredients locally where we can, and all of our packaging is either compostable or recyclable. Rest assured, all of our chocolate is sustainably sourced.

The quality and taste of our chocolate is unbeatable, alongside the added benefits of CBD. All of our chocolate is sustainably sourced and produced in Wales. From creamy milk chocolate, to rich dark chocolate and everything in between – we produce flavours to satisfy every taste.

It’s not simple when it comes to crafting outstanding quality chocolate. We use a delicate tempering process to ensure the perfect texture and blend, all whilst using amazing ingredients. Every new flavour is sampled, tested and re-sampled until perfection to ensure every single product reaches our high-quality standard. The testing is definitely our favourite part of the process!

We know there are a lot of questions and confusion when it comes to CBD, so we want to provide you with all the need-to-know information in the simplest way possible.

What is CBD?

CBD is short for ‘cannabidiol’ which is a naturally occurring chemical compound derived from cannabis sativa plants. It is extracted from the cannabis plant and then typically diluted. Unlike the other compound found in the cannabis sativa plant – Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) – CBD is not psychoactive, meaning it won’t cause the sensation of feeling ‘high’.

What can CBD help with?

The popularity of CBD is rooted in the health and wellness world as it eases symptoms such as chronic pain, arthritis, depression, stress, and anxiety. CBD is well-known to make people feel more relaxed and calmer, without making them euphoric or sedated. When taken in edible form, the effects of CBD can last four or five hours.
